The Faversham, Leeds City Centre
First & foremost it has to be The Faversham, I loved this venue so much so that me & my now husband decided to get married there &, if I do say so myself, what a perfect day that was! This elegant yet unique location so effortlessly combines heritage charm with industrial modernity. What a breathtaking backdrop its original glass roof conservatory, south facing terrace & chic lounge make for one of life’s most precious events. The Faversham’s eclectic mix of vintage, industrial & modern furniture make it perfect for couples desiring a less traditional wedding whilst the original flooring & exposed brickwork give so much character to the building.

The Faversham is located just five minutes from the city centre in its own grounds complete with parking. This makes it an ideal venue if you have family & friends traveling from further afield.

All I will say is Oak…ay wow! This beautiful venue nestled within tranquil meadows of greenery is located deep in the heart of the North Yorkshire countryside. Once a family farm, The Oakwood has been lovingly & oh so stylishly transformed into a breathtaking venue which offers the most luxurious take on a countryside wedding. Comprised of two stunning converted barns which house a contemporary bar & cocktail lounge &, of course, the ceremony hall with its huge whalebone oak arches, traditional York stone floor, & beautiful statement lighting - one thing is for sure, this venue will not leave you wanting!

The Venue, Bowers Mill, Halifax
This lovingly restored & renovated industrial style mill is situated in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside, surrounded by woodland & a tranquil lake. The Venue is an eclectic mix of original features combined with industrial finishes such as the large factory windows & exposed brickwork. This is a space that is suitable for those desiring an intimate, romantic ceremony as well as for those wanting a large celebration with all of their family & friends. Whether you choose to wed in the lofty, light Bowers Rooms or in the charming Spinning Room with its cast iron pillars & original mill floor, The Venue is guaranteed to have something you will love.

The latest addition to the mill is an eleven-bedroom boutique hotel which makes this location perfect for couples wanting to dance until the early hours within walking distance of a comfy bed!
The Chilli Barn, Otley
The Chilli Barn is a traditional Yorkshire stone barn situated high on East Chevin Road - just outside Chevin Forest - offering breathtaking views of the Wharfe Valley. This picturesque, rural venue is most suited to couples hoping for an intimate & personal yet unique & informal wedding day. The materials & furnishings within the space combine rustic charm with a touch of glamour. The mezzanine level - which frames a stunning, antique chandelier - is the focal point of the Barn’s interior which is enhanced by the most wonderful natural light that floods in through the high-arched, south-facing glazed wagon door. Applewood Weddings, Scholes
For my fifth & final venue I have chosen somewhere really, really close to home - literally on my own doorstep in the village of Scholes - Applewood Weddings. Sheltered under a canopy of trees, your magical woodland wedding awaits. This exclusively outdoor venue only hosts a handful of ceremonies a year so, although dates are in high demand, you can rest assured your day will be wonderfully unique! This location is a match made in heaven for any free spirits in love with all that is bohemian, bold & beautiful.

Whilst this venue is incredibly remote & peaceful, it is also just 15 minutes from Leeds City Centre. With great transport links & plenty of accommodation nearby, it is the perfect distance for your family & friends to be able to travel & celebrate with you.
