My Approach
No couple or wedding is the same, and with so many photographers out there to choose from it’s important to me that we are a good match.
I’m a laid-back person and the way I approach photographing your wedding is very relaxed and natural. I’m non-intrusive, quietly working away to document everything about your special day. I’m all about capturing the real moments, nothing forced or overly staged.
A lot of couples say to me ‘we hate having our photo taken’ or ‘I’m so awkward in front of the camera’ and I completely get that! I’m there to give a little guidance and direction if needed but mostly I want you to forget the camera is even there, enjoy each other’s company and if there is a little awkward laughter along the way, it often makes some of the best photos, trust me!
If you are still worried about being in front of the camera on your big day, booking a pre-wedding shoot is the perfect option. You’ll get a feel for what it’s like being in front of the camera and how I work, and it will make you feel so much more relaxed on the day.
We go for a walk, have a chat and you’ll soon find that actually it’s nowhere near as awkward as you thought.
